So Legacy, for lack of a better word, is done! However, who here gets the feeling that Cody WANTED Sheamus to win???? Think about it. Randy was winning somewhat and then Cody comes out to “save” Randy by beating down Sheamus even though he KNEW this match had normal rules (he’s been in the cheating game long enough to know how to be discreet). So he plays the innocent by stander, but Randy beats him down. Now, Ted comes out to save Cody to get beaten down as well – this ENSURES that Ted doesn’t go into the Rumble 100% Now because RKO attacked Ted for really no reason, with the bad blood between these two already, Cody KNOWS Randy will focus most of his energy on Ted. This will allow him to move forward, steal a quick win and maybe even go to WM as the main event leaving his former teammates fighting amongst themselves.

I’m just saying that Cody’s heel persona looks to be shaping up nicely into some sort of puppet master type of bad guy who uses allies to get ahead while keeping his hands clean.

Joel that sounds great how you came up with that. I really wish that were to happen, sadly Cody might get the short end of the stick when it comes to Legacy. I really wish WWE would focus on Cody a bit more rather than this thing Randy vs Ted kinda thing.

One other thing I was thinking and that Michael Cole kept emphasizing was that Randy told Ted he didn’t want any help from both of them, but he didn’t tell Cody that. So this could somehow turn into Ted’s fault in a way.

I can’t wait to see what comes from this tonight on RAW!

All hope is not lost for Cody my friend. Even though he didn’t qualify for EC, he’s STILL the MAIN reason RKO lost that title match. If WWE is smart they’ll put him in on this as much as DiBiase – if not more. Also I agree with you about it being Ted’s fault in the end. Here’s a theory.

Raw comes on and Cody finds out from Randy that he wasn’t supposed to interfere in the match because he told Ted and assumed Ted would inform Cody. Anyways, Cody believes that Ted set him up to get RKO to lose his match thus keeping the seemingly weak but oh so insignificant Sheamus as Champ (because everyone’s afraid of facing Randy), and picks a fight with the guy. Ted vs Cody feud starts brewing right there. RKO washes his hands of Ted come EC after making it clear to Cody that he’s finished. So now we have all three guys hating each other.

Truthfully, I want WWE to just build this feud up and make it last as long or longer than the HHH vs RKO feud (minus the repetitiveness and downright HHH bias). I hope they don’t drop the ball on this one.
